I actually missed most of the game as I was on the phone with my older sister. I tuned in just in time for the winning score. We're going to have to play better than that to get past Washington next week. I hope your guys get them Gophers next week.
You didn't spoil it. I don't know what happened. They were reliving the glory days of Pitt/PSU during the broadcast. Poor little Andy. That was an obvious food coma setting in...been there done that...have much drool on the t-shirt to show for it. Little goldies are so cute, but then they grow up...and they're still adorable.
I saw the final score but I've still got the second half to watch. I'm working on projects and squeezing in football as I can. Knowing how close it was I'm very much looking forward to the second half as the first was pretty disappointing. That they came back as far as they did is impressive as hell. Sucks not to get a win though.
*sneaks my laundry into yours so i'll get it washed* I've tried treats. he won't come up to me if I have them in my hand. if I put some on the floor he'll run away if I come near even, I don't even try and pet him, just coming nearby. if ii come into the kitchen when he's eating he runs away. he must have had an older brubber that beated him up for his dessert or something. when i'm trying to sleep he'll come into bed and nudge me with his cold wet nose to pet him. every once in a while while i'm on my laptop he'll come up and nudge me like that and if I stop he'll tap me on the arm wih his paw. molly is sleeping on the couch right now, squee
what we got was off and on heavy rain and a lot of branches on the ground from what I saw. I read some places here had trees down but there are old trees here that their root systems can't support their weight. I glad you get to cuddle your kittehs. can you talk to dusty? he won't even let me pick him up. I don't know if he's scared of heights or some other reason. he doesn't seem to like his feet off the ground. I mentioned that to the vet tech while she was trimming his claws and she said no kitteh likes their paws off the ground. immediately I thought of patches and how he'd purr as I carried him around like a baby. lol, I guess there's always an exception to the rule. it has finally been in the upper 70's at night the past several ddays. there was one day a couple months ago I checked the weather and it said the heat index was 130 degrees, I don't know if that is right or not. i'd hate to have to get in my car if outside feels like 130 degrees. right now at 11:15 it is 83 degrees
*dusty squeeks out a hai! to you as he zooms past* I swear that boy is crazy sometimes. a couple minutes ago he hopped up on the couch and was attacking it. not shredding it with his claws, attacking it. at first I thought there must be a bug on it but nope. he's just crazy, it's that simple lol
At the risk of saying something that sounds like it might have come from the Comfy Sofa...every girl ought to have a nawty boy or two in their lives...boy kittehs, firefighters...mix n match...collect the whole set! Yeah, the anniversary of DaVinci passing had to have been a rough one. You can look forward to the day when DaVinci photos just bring soft smiles and warm memories.
What a nice feature! Reminders of both Linney and Copper have got to bring smiles to your face. When Becky gets her cuddle time after dinner I'll devote some of those gentle pets to having come from you. I'll make sure a treat follows right away so they're doubly special. I see that they're going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first game Paterno coached in a couple weeks. I hope it is a good celebration and that there aren't a bunch of crappy distractions. It's a real shame things ended the way they did for him.
