Aw, thanks. I saw that picture and knew I had to caption it. It was just a matter of coming up with the most embarrassing thing imaginable for a dog. It is quite a shift when you walk away from the grind of work. The best part is being the master of your schedule. You only put things on your plate that you want on there. The financial shift is less pleasurable. I went into retirement pretty comfy but the '08 crisis hit one year into retirement and that forced me to watch myself. It's all good though. C'mon in...the water's fine!

Simon's cat was pretty cute. I'd have to think a fair number of those down votes could be attributed to pissy Monday morning attitudes. I'm astounded that my mailman LOL only has one down vote. I've never had one attract so little negativity. I ED'd that you're kind of hoping for a package from the company. How long have you been there now? Walking away is a big change but it can be very welcome. Fatigue sets in after the grind of many years. I hope it works out the way you want.

it's ok. I haven't been around either, just depressed and tired all of the time. the kittehs are napping here right now. I want to trim dusty's claws but I swear he can read my mind and he won't come near me except when i'm laying down in bed. he's due for the vet the end of this month so I sent them an email with my preferences for days/times and they should contact me tomorrow. so I might not worry about wrestling dusty and both of us get hurt in the process. i made a horrible mistake and didn't realize it until later, I have only one picture of tigger. i took that picture a week before she went over the bridge in 2010. i don't think i have any other pictures of her between 2003 and then. i didn't have a camera but i just enjoyed both kitteh's company and didn't even occur to me about taking pictures. so all i have is that one picture....and it's on my cell phone. i had taken a bunch of pictures of her but she was drooling horribly at the time because of the cancer so she didn't look right. a lot of times her fur would be all matted on her face from it. also, becaue the idiot vet kept having me give her liquid antibiotics and she'd still move her head around some, she'd get pink stuff in her fur. After all of that, i am took more pictures of patches and i'm taking pictures of dusty and molly. i would just love to be able to pick tigger up again and hug her and give her a smooch on the top of her head. she would have been 20 this year. *dusty hedbonks your boys and squeeks out "you're it!" before he runs off*

*dusty zooms over and gibs you a hedbonk* *squeeek squeeek chirp* I have an ottoman on each side of my recliner that I use as tables sorta kinda but I got them because they open up for storage too. at least I have the option of using them as an ottoman instead of a table. anyway, dusty loves to stand on one or the other(molly will sometimes but not as much as dusty) so I just put my head down and he touched his little cold nose to my forehead and then we did a few hedbonks and a little rubbing of each other's faces *I feel so happy* usually he doesn't have the time for these things, he's got to keep moving or he's suspicious of everything. he has always liked to do what lilapc calls a "hipbonk". he'll walk up to me and bonk my leg with his hip, sometimes so hard, if i'm not paying attention, I could almost fall over. silly boy. dusty is slowly coming around I guess. I really need to trim his claws but I know that will still be a fight. his rabies is due near the beginning of august, I think it was august 11 last year so of course he'll be upset after going there.

I've seen this info a couple times before in different forms but I always love to look at it because I want to know what my cats are thinking(like right now dusty is running full speed back and forth through the livingroom and bedroom. even molly is looking at him like he's crazy). this is an article about cat tail positions and what they mean http://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/pets/cat-tail-positions-and-what-they-mean/ss-BBkJ4FP?ocid=spartandhp#image=2

sounds good to me. dusty says it sounds good to him too. that's now what I meant though when I said it sounds good. I think dusty has decided i'm his mom or I should at least act like I am. he keeps turning around and lifting his tail up. I told him I don't clean butts and he's old enough to do that himself

I know what you're talking about with the 13 pounds and the size of the body. patches was 14 pounds and he looked skinny to me. when he was 17 pounds he looked a little(but only a little) fat. but then there was tigger who was 27 pounds at one time. molly's body is so much shorter than patches was and I think dusty is smaller than she is. I was going through papers all day today just to see what I can get rid of and what I need to keep and dusty was 8.9 pounds last July. I think he's skinny and I do think he had this chubby cuteness about him when he was a kitten, he's still cute though :) i think molly has lost a pound total thanks to dusty so maybe you need to get another kitten to help with the weight loss ;) lol
