My mom used to have a cat she named Limpet, since the kitteh always latched into her like a limpet, and it would refuse to let go! When she went to the bathroom, etc, the cat went along for the rides since she reused to be separated from my mom!
Well, even though he's still running a fever and could've used another week in the care facility, our friend AOCH, James has been sent packing. They let him hang for two days before just now finding out the insurance won't cover another week. He wanted me to let folks know that he may not be able to get online for a few days. http://cheezburger.com/8249184768
I went. The music wasn't as good as I thought it would be, there were a lot more people there this year. The fireworks were excellent this year, as usual, but the Kettle Korn booth wasn't there. I always get a fresh bag to munch while waiting for the bus and to share at work. Only one guy stopped to offer me a ride and he went away as soon as I shook my head no. Managed to catch the last bus, so all in all it was a good night!
Thanks sweetiepie!! Bailey is still recovering from emergency surgery at the Vet's...she had to remove an orange sized blockage from his bladder. Apparently males are more prone to FLUTD due to a narrowing of the urethra in the penis but you probably know this stuff. This is his second bout in life with backed up crystals so she's recommending a special food for life that will prevent that. Sounds like a small price to pay to ensure it doesn't happen anymore. I do not want him to have to go through this again. I remember messaging Syl July 2...Bailey had been listless, not hungry, had a peeing incident and I inwardly panicked but then he coughed up a hairball and I thought he was fine and I was being silly. He got all perky and playful and stuff but the next day he needed surgery.I wonder how we can know for sure when a pet is direly ill or toxic. It's easier with human children imo.... Anyhoo I bin visitin' him to let him know we'z still here for him. We miss him so much!! I was going to get a pic to document his surgery but there is no flash photography of any kind in recovery. Weird huh? He has a little cone on and a catheter in but is peeing lots which is good.So we have, thankfully, almost made it through this and hopefully get our new big boy back Monday. :D I sure can ramble on for a long time eh? ;) How are YOU doing my lovely?
