I am very sorry about your grandmother. I was not close to my paternal one and I never knew my maternal one and I have missed not having that loving relationship I so often heard of. She was an old bat. I'm just like her unfortunately.

THat's what mine do if you continue to ignore them. If you still haven't paid attention to them after that step, they will start reaching up and clawing you in the face lol
I'm married too but that doesn't appear to deter anybody from 'the look' and a big guffaw. I just say I love cats...and bite my tongue from finishing the sentence with "better than hoomins!" :DDD
