Yes indeedy :) Thanks - I added it to my Downton Tabby collection. Looks like KS beat the Raiders pretty handily today. We won today also and are just one game behind the AZ Cadinals. Still possible for us to win the Division or a wild card unless we lose both our last ames, one of which is against the Cards. Both No and Socal getting hammered. Getin a year's worth of rain in a week or two. One of those verym ixed blessings as they need the rain so bad but the damge it; causing is terrible. Town names are always interesitng. OR has a ton called "Boring" We don't have to do any shopping which I absolutely love. The adults int he family agreed a few years ago not to exchange presents anymor except with MIL cuz she loves to get them and give them. The gkids would rather hae oney than anything so very easy. I still do the cookie thing, finished them all and mailed out a bunch last Mon. Instead of mailing to OR, I now mail to WA :) plus other people mostly in the West like passed DIL's Mom whom we've kept in touch with. Haven't been on since Fri am as we had a big party last night so had to take a couple of days to get ready. The rest of thehokiday season will be pretty low key.

Actually, the funny thing about rescuing the kitty was that I felt like she was rescuing me.. by giving me headbonks and purring massages, and just being the angel she was in my life! And I'll never ever forget how much love she gave!

I rescued Spooky when she was six years old. She was taken away from an alcoholic lady that was feeding her coffee grounds instead of cat food.

Spooky was mine, and she was over 15 when she passed. I tried prescriptions to get her to diet, but she would not eat anything, so she just happened to be obese and not eating much, but she was so very affectionate and sweet. The thing she loved best was her manicures on her scratching post and purring when she was petted. The other kitty.. don't know whose, but we all love our cats on here!

Chris10a from the book club: three more gems, thank you : ) But are you saying a christmas tree is nothing but a port-a-potty?

I don't have a TV. But back when I did, I love Masterpiece Theatre. I'll have to see if our second hand bookstore has any of those three. Trust me on the Rollins story. If you read just one.......

Ooooo. Who's the author? Sounds intriguing. I am completely hooked on James Rollins. He mingles Historical themes with Real Science into some fantastic fiction and then has a regular cast of characters (Sigma Force [not as hokey as it sounds]) to save the world. And I love how at the end of each novel, he separates fact from fiction. Some of the fact is terrifying. I like all the books but Devil Colony is my favorite so far. It has nothing to do with Satan and everything to do with the disappearance of the Anasazi Indians, Ben Franklin, Brigham Young, the Founding Fathers, Nano-technology, Super Volcanos and on an on!! Really good reading, if you've a mind.

Chris10a from the book club: we're not too picky during Santa Season, so yes, we're taking your Christmas lol (besides, they are very funny). Just as wll we've all been good all year long, I'm not risking being on Santa's naughtly list this year!
