I am glad that Lynda is trying to look at the positive side - first step towards makng her own life in the way she would like it to be. You and Mark surviving the winter OK? We had snow a few days ago and now might have low 70s this weekend. Weird. But that will be cool as a bunch of us are renting cabins at a hot springs about 3 hours east of here for Fri and Sat night. Better remember some sun block :) WA has several hot springs but for some reason we never went to them.
Kleened teh stopy howse all day Sunday - nawt as much fun as being here for sure :) How iz eberyfing in ur corner ob teh wurld? How is Lynda doing? Mae ebough fleece pads to las awhile. A lot of the upgrde stuff will involve Bryan and his carpentry skills. I have some admin type ideas eventually. Still going slow and getting to know the shelter, the kitehs and the volunteers. I'll hae o look at BF to see hat the heck I was talkng about :)
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, actually. And I had a friend who kept insisting his name was Canon Doyle, and I got it wrong. When I showed her the book with his name on the cover, she said it was a miss print : p And Conan the Barbarian is an old Schwarzenegger movie : ) I just hustled the whole bunch together.
In my job (I've been here over ten years now) I'm pretty good at remembering names of make up artists, producers, etc. but not voices or faces for that matter. And with my unusual voice and dayglo Irish coloring, I'm kinda hard to forget. People put me on the spot all the time. This person that I have quite the email friendship going, hasn't called in a while and embarrassed me by gushing about how good it was to hear my voice, without saying who she was..........So I totally get it. Now, I'm not saying that's where the "supposed" quote came from, but if someone else could ED and figure out which book I meant, that could be what started it, you just never know!
