Hiya Foxkatt. Did I see where you were having surgery of some sort? It's been a couple weeks, but I've had a weird schedule lately and now I'm sick, so not getting here as much as usual. Anyway, if you *are* recuperating (or even if you're not, you're OK), if you like jigsaw puzzles I have a humdinger for you. It's called Autumn Foxfire and is part of the Fantastic Visions line from Mega Puzzles. It's 1000 pieces and is around 27"x19" vertically oriented. It's all warm midnight and slate blues with lots of orange tones. You can see it here: http://www.puzzlewarehouse.com/Fantastic-Visions-Autumn-Foxfire-50939aan-1.html. Don't bother checking the Mega Puzzles website, though. For some reason none of this line of puzzles is shown there! Even if you don't do jigsaws, you can at least appreciate the lovely artwork at the link. :)
And that woul be true for a lot of people in terms of why and where they are working. Good health insurance is so important. Overnight definitely. Don't want to take any chances on being late - never know with traffic. When I was having medical issues I had to go to the UW in Seattle a lot, which at 2 am would take 45 minutes :) But when I had morning appts, with the commute on I5, we would allow 2 hours. I had two surgeries there and we always spent the night.
You work for a school disrict right? Hey, your health is way more important thant anything else you got going. My passed elder auntie used to say "If you aint got family, friends and your health, you aint got nothing." :) Is it a same day surgery or will you have to be in the hospital for awhile?
Was visiting Boo's profile and ED about your parathyroid issue. Oh my, so glad they found out what the problem was and that it is fixable and will hopefully get rid of a lot of the side effects Have they scheduled the surgery yet?
oh my gosh! I am so stupid!! You even told me in your first message that was the type of and you are dealing with and not with thyroid. I'm going to bed for right now and start with everything fresh tomorrow morning ;)
I totally understand what you are saying about your thyroidand I am sure that your life will be like a night and day difference after the surgery. my mother had a large portion of her thyroid taken out when she was young and this was is 26 years ago. she had hyper thyroidism and I have had hypothyroidism since I was 14. it is absolutely startling to know all the things that little gland controls in our bodies!I will be so happy for you when this is taken care of. Migraines are such a terrible thing to have to endure and it will be wonderful to have it all over with
