A brony who first encountered the show on Youtube in the form of Garry's Mod video's with a few models of the Mane Six, at the time I though it was just a joke and moved on.
Later I was watching one of the guys at ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com, Nash who had a skit about 'bronies', again I thought of it as nothing more as a joke and left it behind.
Then Linkara used a part of the intro music to take a stab at a character in a Silent Hill comic he reviewed. Again, joke, moved on.

Then ChadRocco started his retrospective on the MLP series and that drew my attention as I've always like his work no matter the subject, those who've watched him before will understand, those that don't, go look him up.
And how I discovered what I had been missing out on. After his retrospective I followed his advice, went to Youtube and watched the show and that bring us to the present.
