Forgot... I *love* The Sopranos reference! Never watched it, but I saw enough commercials that I know exactly what you mean using it to describe Westeros. The Sopranos was a soap opera with guns and GoT is a soap opera with swords. (Um... are you familiar with "soap opera"? It's usually women who watch those...)

Jeff, I'm honored - thank you! Sweetie, did you realize *I've* never *read* them? I'm hooked on the TV show, which I included in a LOL for the BC's TV section. You asked about it, I explained where it was from, and somehow that led you to order the books. (I think you said you'd seen one or two of the TV episodes.) And yes, I actually tried to warn you off them as I'd heard about how lengthy they were, lol! I'm so very pleased it's worked out for you and that you're so happy with them. In my, ahem, book, that's about the sweetest feeling one can have - to have introduced someone to something that comes to mean so much to them. ((Hugs))

Hi Jeff. Could you please give me a rundown of how easy/difficult it is to help run the Book Club and 1 Team KSO profile pages? I think there's enough interest to start something similar for those of us bummed by Historiclols closing down. I've mentioned this to PrincessWordplay already, since she's been public in her dislike of that move. I've asked if she'd be willing to moderate or help do so. I think I could swing helping, but I'm not sure about being solely responsible for such a project. Any tips on starting and maintaining one?

Hiya Jeff. Just wanted to say thanks again for the Game of Thrones compliment you paid me at the book club. I do remember it a trifle differently. I thought I'd explained one of my LOLs to you, you mentioned you'd seen an episode or two, then you went and ordered all the books, *then* I warned you about them being so long. But it doesn't really matter so long as they are giving you such joy. // I do have to tell you about something not so pleasant, though. One of the GoT corgi LOLs I submitted to the book club (not the one that made goggie FP, the other one) has had its title censored by someone at ICHC. I've had several titles altered before, but this takes the cake because it looks like a glaring example of political censorship, which should have *no place* at ICHC.
