I wish we could have six months of fall instead of six months of Winter (people where I live were ordering heating oil through the end of May). Yes, I intend to bring in the tamest cat and also the oldest cat. The old one has been sleeping in my driveway and it takes a while for her to wake up! Last year she was sleeping on top of a snow drift under a tree - if I have to hold her by the scruff and get scratched, I'll just do that because she's just too old for another blizzard outside. I want her in my furnace room no later than Christmas.
I appreciate the congrats very much! I am a strong supporter of bats and am so sad that many people dislike them out of fear based on incorrect information. I put up a bat fact LOL today and will do so each day of Bat Week. Humans need bats even though many don't know it, but bats are being killed in large numbers by a fungus and by humans destroying their nesting areas. The really sad thing is that they are so unpopular that it's hard to get the government to take action to help them. I am delighted that the Cheez lords put this LOL on the HP, but I wish they would have put the bat fact instead. I'll take what I can get though. This is the HP that has made me the happiest of all that I've ever had.
Making the HP twice was a nice surprise. I don't blame you for not eating fish much anymore after almost choking. I'm sure that was scary. Did you watch TWD? It was really hard to watch. I did have a nice weekend. I did something a little different yesterday. My manager invited me to go with her to watch a marching band contest her daughter was in. I had fun. Today I went to pick up my back up glasses so I'll have them when I take my vision test when I go to get my license renewed on Friday. Did you finish the painting? The pies at the party sound delicious. I haven't seen any shows this week besides TWD. I have to wake up too early this week to feed the neighbors' dogs while they are out of town. How was your day? Have a great Monday :) *hugs*
Welkumz! >blak furree hugz< I am doing very well, thank you. The work I had done on my house was excellent - we have been having very strong winds, and none of that has gotten into my house. The colony is doing well, too - the girls are getting old, so my neighbors are planning to make a larger shelter with more straw. There are cats from the nearby farm living in one neighbor's yard, but no problems so far - possibly because there are no intact males among them. I really didn't expect the group to be so small at this time, but the neighborhood overall has enough cats to keep the squirrels from doing damage.
