Though I was born in the US, I have lived in Japan for close to a decade now. My Japanese level is pretty low unless I have had a few alcoholic drinks. I live with my cat (secretly as they aren't allowed in most apartments), teach English at a great little school, relax by playing vid games, and usually check out memebase as part of my morning routine. I enjoy reading well-written books, but I read them too quickly, so that's more short lived than I'd like. I am a brony, but have yet to see any of the 2nd season. But that's on purpose! Every six months I have to spend a full weekend doing student reports, and nothing gets me through a few dozen identical evalutations like a MLP:FiM break between every ten reports. I have to save the 2nd season for late February. My dislikes are few, but would include food snobbery and any gov't office visit. Oh, and anyone without laughter can keep on walking.
