That's the first challenge. We have to sign a petition. If we are selected we can go. The Info that comes with the petition says we shouldn't make plans before being accepted. But also asks you to stay like one week.
I'm in Sao Paulo's coast. It's a city called São Sebastião (google it :). I'm definitely going to Landover. Apparently the "IC" is going to happen in august next year. There will be some activities with local brothers, like going to the field ministry together and visiting nice places!
And i have never been in the USA, so any help is always appreciated! i don't know if i'll have any friend from my region coming with me, most likely they won't, and i will be by myself...(forever alone...-.-)
I aways wanted to go to a international convention (see? i learned the word!) too! there aws this one in Brazil this year - i think - but we weren't invited :( Tell me: is Landover near DC ? because there will be one "IC" there.
The humid climate must make it even worse indeed, i have an Ex from California and she said that her doctor actually said the humid heat where she lives are slowly messing her up, shes often sick and sometimes nosebleeds because of the heat. I suggested her to move in with me in Norway but i broke up with her before that as she became too weird regarding the truth. I could never truly be happy with one that, if believing the bible's message; Having a flawed view upon it. Anyway, considered to move up to Canada for their lovely breeze? Their climate appear to be much familiar to ours. I so want to explore the nature there when the time comes, i'll be arriving with my ship.
Ah yes, the sun and i aren't much friends, business partners at best as i appreciate the life it radiates on earth 24/7. I'm the more rare winter type you see, i thrive in the, let's say; controlled climate where i don't have to sweat and strip in the sun all the time but instead can simply get on cozy warm clothes if necessary. Don't get me wrong, i do enjoy the sun as true as i'm a fellow human being, i've probably just not climbed my share of mountains yet to enjoy the view enough this summer and i hope i will as there is a lot of potential for that here where i live. Hope your days are with joy and peace, ciao!
