well I tried the sqwerl but she sniffed irt and didn't like it but I guess it smelled like patches so I may have to buy her a new one including other new toys because they all smell like patches. she just had some gushy fud and now is zipping around the apt lol
I think a big part of it is that patches suppressed her ability to be nice. he was mean to her. if she layed on the couch next to me(I wasn't even petting her) he'd come up and swat her on the head. he wouldn't let her have any treats or catnip. if I tried to make it where she could have some it looked like she was too scared to, like she was maybe afraid he would hurt her afterwards. if I held her she'd be looking over her shoulder for him. so i'm thinking that's part of it.
yeah I think that's one of those things you have to start early. molly is just blossoming. she speaks more now in one hour than she did in the last 4 years. she loves to cuddle. rather than sleep by my feet in the bed she will come sleep up by my chest and often let me wrap my arm around her and we'll fall asleep like that. the only sign I have that she misses patches or notices he's gone is that about 3 or 4 times she's looked in the carrier
i dunno?cleo is gifted? molly doesn't play with toys except like a little animal on a string on a stick. patches really loved that sqwerl. and when he was younger the red dot and that little animal on the string. so sorry, wish I could help.
Hummm, is a puzzlement. My Wally didn't play with toys much, but when he did, he liked to stack them on top of each other. He preferred the very small stuffed animals that he had. Sometimes it looked like a five car pile-up right there in the floor! It had to be him because it wasn't me, and at that time I didn't have any other cats. Tonight when I fed the outside cats, I had to call Punkie. When she showed up, she had a dead vole in her mouth. I guess she brought it to trade with me 'cause when she saw that the gushy food was salmon, she dropped the vole and chowed down with her sisters. I threw the vole in the trash. She's such a thoughtful kitty. LOL. Glad to hear things are okay there. Love ya, Linda
Hi there. Things are fine here. I've been trying to find time to get The Herd's kennels ready for colder weather, but so far I haven't gotten much done. I think the rest iof this month will be okay though. Hope all is well with you. Hugs, Linda
