I am a retired Forest Ranger/Wildland Firefighter/Surveillance Pilot living in rural Idaho with my wife of 48 years and two Cats who are our very best friends. Taffy, a long haired orange tabby and Rocky, a Chocolate spotted Ocicat. Some pictures are of departed friends. The Black and White "Tommy Tinker" crossed the Rainbow Bridge just before his 18th birthday, Christmas 2005. The cinnamon silver Ocicat, "Sherman" had undiagnosed HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, a congenital heart disorder) and crossed the Rainbow Bridge right after his second birthday in 2007. I still miss them both. We have had kitties since two of them wandered into our life in Southern California in 1965. Each one left a permanent pain in my heart when they left to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I hope that when I cross the Rainbow Bridge they will all be waiting for me on the other side.
