lol at the cookie rule. It's a good one, and more should follow it. It's nice to see you again, even if just for a day. Your trip sounds really nice. I'm glad the weather was good for your camping trip and will stay good for the festival and wedding. It's nice that you helped with the MS fundraiser. I'm sorry to hear about your friend getting worse. The training class is still having their ups and downs, and today was a down, at least for one of them when I checked their work from yesterday. They're all careless mistakes. I may have to say they need another week, which is disappointing. I did get a new AC after the motor went out on the last one. This is a much better kind, and will work in heat and humidity. Not sure about weekend plans yet, but probably mall time and dinner out. I tried sushi for the first time last Saturday at a new place. It was good, and I would try it again. I saw on my DB that Shasta is sick. I hope she gets well soon. Let me know how the trip went. Hope you have a great time and safe trip there and back :)
Ohai! Hope you'll have a nice trip! - Most of my raku works were ok, some even great, but quite a few turned out black. Sometimes they just do that. I'll have another chance to glaze them whenever there's another raku class. Probably next year. And one of the buttons got stuck to the bottom of the kiln. There it stayed. Dang, it looked lovely... - I visited my godson last weekend. It was a nice trip even with a very hot weather, it was about +29- +30 C outside. And the bus on the way there was HOT! Took a few of my clay buttons and pendants with to show and give a way as little presents. Even my godson chose a button, though boys often don't really care about such things. :) - It's hot, most days close to + 30 C. Today it rained and thundered a bit, so now (almost at midnight) it's not so stiflingly hot, but after this week we expect something like over +30 (!) C. Noes! That is too much! And work starts again next week... - A good idea is to put water in bottles to freeze overnight. Water stays cold for hours even if it's only in your purse. Made traveling easier, stayed cold for over 6-7 hours. :)
I was really moved by Emerald's message, that is why I am leaving it up for a while as well, such a kind gesture or her. We had a few weird days after the crash. You would think that shooting down a random plane full of tourists would be quite enough, but no, let's also rob the dead! A lot of anger to go with the grief : ( ..... Butt!... strangely enough for the rest of life goes on as before. And you just keep on partying it seems, having a great summer! And a wedding too! Best wishes for bride&groom from this side of the pool. (no such thing as too many congratulations). I'll keep an eye on KSO and if the messages pile up too much I'll have a go at them again. And have you seen some of Catsuberalles Shakespeare series for the ook club? He's doing all the plays, misquoted and kittehfied : ) really creative! Now go, stir it up, have fun!
That is odd that your cat is on Diabetic food. In my experience, a cat that IS diabetic has to go on that food, needs insulin, or both, but most start out as heavy cats. Does she drink a lot of water, and leave a lot of urine in her box? That is the first sign of diabetes. Glad you had her checked out. Pet sitting has been a bit slow for me, but is picking up starting tomorrow. I was super busy at the beginning of the year. I think people decided to go on vacations early, since our winter was so long. Gave me a summer break, but then there is no money coming in!! But it will pick up. Your kitty resort sounds nice. Do they have a website? I'd love to check it out. Have fun on your vacation. Going someplace fun?
Hiya sweetness!! Out with IKEA, and in with garden store's and arboriculture's ;-D Did not get tree's yet. We're still looking around for suteble tree's to plant close to a house. The tree's surrounding the pond in frond of our houses are sick. They need to be removed, before they get blown over in the fall! But they block a lot of (hot) sunlight. That's why we're thinking of planting a few small one's in our front yard. Attracts birds too :-) Neighbor kitteh is doing fine!! I take good care of him ;-D Oeh!! Going to take another trip?! Where are you Guy's going? I'm so sorry to hear Shasta is not well!!! Poor little thing!!! Did not know they could have high blood pressure either!! Glad you found a great place for them to go, and be taken care of proparly!! Thanks for the beer!!! YES! We have six packs of beer too!! :-D But we usualy by bottle's (Heiniken). They come in a pack of 12.I'll send you a pack of those bottled Heiniken ;-D Think I might love where you live right now ;-D Temps are still nice over here. We had some pooring rain, and thunder showers tho. Temps are around F78.8 for the rest of the week. Last week I bought the kittehs one of those water fountain things. They hated it! Would not drink from it, and walk around it. Now they love that thing!! The running water is great!! Guess they had to get used to the humming sound the pump makes. I know.... they're spoiled rotten ;-D Hope you'll have a fantastic time again on your trip dear!!! And I'm glad the cats are well looked after too!! Hope Shasta feel better soon tho!! Enjoy, relax, and have a great time sweetheart!!!!!!!! XOXO
I've never ventured into the gluten free arena. It's nice of you to make that foray to accommodate your friend. I'm afraid I don't have any tips on the crumbly front. I don't recall that being one of the troubleshoot conditions in my trusty Betty Crocker Cookcook. I don't use it often but there are certain times I refer back to that great cookbook and troubleshooting bread baking is one of them. Did you try a web search for insights? If you don't find a solution just re-label it Zuchinni Crumble and bask in the glory of your new recipe. I'm sure the taste is quite good. Mmmm...biscuits and gravy...for me that's reserved for a winter morning when I have no intention of trying to accomplish anything else for the day. I always eat too much and wind up sluggish...happy...but sluggish.
