Did the music play in your head as you thought of that spinning plate routine? It did for me. That house deal is moving quickly. I hope they get real close with their counter and that you get that house. I love the fact that you already have the furniture arranged and a deck and workshop designed. Will the materials for those projects arrive with the moving truck? I'd hate to see you guys waste a bunch of time. I'm glad things went well with the doctor and that you got a good referral for Bend. I do white meat more often than dark and have gotten pretty good at getting it done and keeping it moist. What kid of marinade did you use? I cooked up the last of the chicken sausage I made. I don't know if you went all the way back in the notes I traded with Paws to see where i decided to make my own because the store-bought varieties have too much sodium for my taste. I used the meat grinder and sausage stuffer attachments to my Kitchenaid mixer. The flavor was great but the mechanics of stuffing and twisting the links needs some work. I just deboned a whole chicken and used all the meat and included the skin to give it the fat content it needed. I think next time I'll cut back just a bit on the skin as it seemed very flavorful. It was flavorful enough that I wondered if i was juicing the calories too much. This is my older sister that I'll see tomorrow. She's got me by four years. She's grandma to sweet little Ashley. Ashley is the one that was featured in the Who's a brave dog video. It sounds like Shasta is a very easy-going cat. I'm sure she and Lil Hussy will work things out in time. Once you get settled in Bend will you get both of them acclimated and then let them be outdoor kitties again?

It's so like you to think of others when you're overwhelmed. I wish I could give you a magic wand to move house *poof* but the best I can do is keep you and your family -- two and four leggged -- in my thoughts. I look forward to the day when we can have our late-night chats again. *hugz*

Hi Syl, Thanks for checking in but don't worry about being off the grid, your issues are a whole lot more serious than mine. I'm doing well, just hangin' out with the critters and healing. A friend drove me to Sonoma (4 hrs, one way) for a couple Board of Officers meetings and the Bear Flag Celebration so I'm keeping the cabin fever at bay. I see your entire life has been stood on end so hang in there, I'll be prayin' for you.

It's great Shasta is doing well. Who is Lil Hussy? Has she met Willie and the other indoor kittehs? It's nice you're moving to be near you son and grandkids. I'm sure that will be a big help to them. When do you think you will be moving? I'm sure you will be very busy getting everything in order. Will you have to wait to sell your current house before you move? We haven't really been up to much. I saw the kittens Saturday and they've grown even more. They're about 9 months now, so they'll be fully grown soon. Have a great Tuesday and good luck with the introduction :)

Hiya sweetness! Enjoying the strawberry's!!! Put some whip cream on top!! :-D Hihi, cats do that!! Mine keep switching around sleeping/napping places too!! I always check where they are, when I leave the house. Just to make sure I didn't lock one of them up somewhere. Sometimes it take's a bit to find them, because they have found some place new to rest :-D ROFL on the 3 DG places near by your new home!!! ;-D I understand you want to supervise the introduction of Shasta to Lil Hussy! Just in case they don't get along... at first! Wow! It's really hot here right now. Specially in this little room. They predict even hotter temps for tomorrow!! Not sure I'm going to make it here tomorrow... I might melt ;-D Today's 93.2F!! Tomorrow 96.8F!! But I guess that will conclude our summer. Couse after that come the thunderstorms, and temps will drop again. We have a large family, and some really good friends. Therefore a lot of birthday party's ;-) My niece graduated from high school. I'm not sure our school systems are the same basically. She is going to study more. A new school next September. You call that University? She's 17. A very fun age!! She has a boyfriend now (first serious one), she has her first job (during her vacation), and she's learning to drive a car! You are so right not selling the house just yet, so you don't have to move twice!! Moving once is enough fuss as it is!! And you already have to move twice.. yourselves and your MIL!! It's going to be a busy time for you!! As I've already told you before: it sucks we live so far apart!! Would have loved to help you!! Nope, we're not going on vacation. I haven't been on one for about 15 years. André's always on the road, so it's kindda vacation when he's home for a few weeks. We do go out for a day here and there. Events and stuffs. This year we used our vacation money to buy/build the outdoor enclose for the cats. And they LOVE IT!! :-D Me too!! It's so nice sitting outside WITH the cats!! :-D We usually use the extra money we don't spend going on vacation, on fixing things in the house or whatever. Buying new stuff we need. Things like that. You take it easy, you hear!! Try and relax a bit too!! Your going to be busy enough, soon enough!! Sending you a large ice-cream, with fruit parts, and syrup and whip cream on top!! :-D ~lots of love and smoochies~

Yes, 7 is the "magic number" my friend! How are you and Bryan doing?Petsmart was fantastic - I hope to start as a 'substitute' for the summer. I won't know for a while, but, in the meantime I can go once a week and help my gal pal and 'learn the ropes'.
