Syl! So glad you're home again! You have no idea how full the Cheez has been with well-wishes and worries, funnies and sads, all Syl, all the time since you've started your ordeal. And yet . . . it's like a drop in the ocean, I know, to all that you've given to us, to dear little animals, and to countless peeps your whole life through! We love you so, you know, you know. Heal now. Get stronger every day. Think up a ton of funnies to share when your lolling fingers are ready. We'll all be right here waiting and praying for you.
Hi there sweetie -- I haven't left you many messages, but you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that you are hanging in there - its a tough fight but you are a good fighter!!! lots of hugs and nuzzles ( hugs are from me, nuzzles are from the kittens) sent your way to help you heal quickly! ***hugs*** kris
Lately have been reading udates abt. you. Concerned for what you've gone thru, but glad that you seem to be doing well. (My cancer was 2004-2005.) Keep up that positive attitude & if nausea is a problem let drs. know (there *are* meds for it), try peppermint candy, crystallized ginger (in tiny bites w. H2O), a spoonful of cola syrup over shaved ice, and real ginger ale from the health food store. Hugs from a cancer survivor. <);-) (cowgirl, not clown!) P.S. If these don't work, follow AOC's advice.
Sylvia, I saw that you're concerned about nausea from the chemo. I offer the following in the spirit of "I learned everything I need to know from my dog" - eat grass. *What? Oh, it is?* No, not THAT kind of grass!! Aww, hell, if it makes you feel better....
