Oh Hai! I've been OK. We're getting ready to leave for 2 weeks starting mid-week next week. It's our first time to the Pagan retreat in Florida since our friend passed away on New Years Day and it's going to be both weird and difficult. We've stopped to stay with her and her housemates on the way to and from the retreat for several years now, and she would ride with us from the panhandle to central Florida to attend the retreat, too. The older I get the more of a trial traveling *can* be (not always, but usually to some degree from various health issues). So on top of that stress will be the giant friend-shaped hole where she used to be. :'( We need to have some time with her housemates, also good friends (who sometimes attend the retreat, too), but it's going to be quite subdued now. ++ I feel for you missing January. I was sick almost that whole month in 2011 and it just keeps you from getting into the "it's a new year" groove of resolutions, etc. But you do seem to have plenty to keep you busy! And I'm glad you're feeling better now. Not feeling so much like a newt anymore is a good thing, lol. ++ I do wish I were going to be here for March 17th, but I may be able to at least check in from our pit-stop before the retreat (which starts on Equinox this year). I hope you get to enjoy some of it. TTYL.
