Pence would not be a threat to use nuclear weapons, but otherwise he is actually worse than Trump. Some here have said the same thing about impeaching Trump to get Pence into the office, but Trump has been allowed to use the Hitler strategy of scaring people (terrorists under every bed and more coming as illegal immigrants) and convincing them that he is the only one who can protect them and making it mainstream to hate (there are hate crimes being committed by individual Trump disciples across this country daily), and these folks would not take well to an impeachment. If this is truly the plan, some folks have made some serious errors. They had better wait until Trump has turned his followers against him before they try to impeach him. It will be a long time before these people will recognize he is not their friend, and they are the kind to grab their weapons and hit the streets. There are a lot of them too.

Just looking at the list of appointees makes me nauseous. It's obvious that there will be no real regulation of big business in this county anymore. There will be drilling and fracking and mining in our National Parks and oil rigs lining all our coasts and pipelines anywhere the oil companies want to put them. There will be no conservation efforts. He believes climate shift is a lie made up by China, of all countries. Yes, he will dismantle NASA and many other scientific endeavors. He plans, despite promising to protect them, to destroy our protective programs that we pay for--medicare and social security, and he is going to give big companies and the ultra wealthy even more tax breaks while destroying the middle class. I don't know how he and the other Republicans think this will work. There will be no one who can buy what the companies make and no one to pay taxes. Of course if he pushes the nuclear trigger because he feels some leader has disrespected him, it will all be a moot point--for the entire world. He is mentally ill enough to do this too. The people who put him into office are totally clueless about any of this. I am apologetic to the entire world that we in the US have allowed this to happen. We sat on our hands as the government and mainstream media became more and more corrupt and controlled by big business and while the Republican Party became, for the most part, a hate group. All of this set the stage for his rise. Now it's too late to stop it. It's scary and depressing.

Scary is what the coming years are going to be, I'm sorry to say. There is so much damage that can be done in two years and that can still be done even if the Democrats gain a majority in Congress, and some of it will not be able to be undone, like the environmental damage and the horrible treatment that some people are going to receive (some of that has begun already but not like what's coming). The man is mentally ill and never should have been allowed to run for office, but we no longer have a free press, so they treated him as a legitimate candidate and simply didn't cover a lot of what he had done and was doing. I do hope this won't end up making the entire world suffer with us. I'm glad that a bit of good has actually come from it in the form of uniting among other nations. Hugs

I thought the same thing about being Cheezfriends for the same reason you did. LOL I was shocked when I went to your DB to say a lot of what I wrote you today, but I wasn't your friend. I'm sure a meme could have been made of the look on my face. It is amazing what totally illogical things that people take as truth without even thinking about the details. Many are so far out there that anyone using reasoning would know they can't possibly be true. Many such things were put on social media because those doing so realize that so many people don't reason anymore, and the sites allowed it while the mainstream press ignored it. When it finally was spoken and written of (after the election), the social media's excuse was they they have no way to stop misinformation from being posted because they can't recognize it. Within a week four college students had made an app that can do so. Still people can't connect the dots while others refuse to and go rabid when these things are pointed out, as you know. I tried to tell people how the election was going to turn out, but I was ignored or ridiculed. I so much wish I had been wrong, but it was as clear as day. Now I refer to the US as the Fourth Reich, and many people don't even know what I'm talking about. All we can do is keep pointing out the truth and in this country stand firm against what is being done as much as we can. I'm glad we're actually friends now. Hugs!

Ohai, new Cheezfriend! Thank you for accepting my friend request. We have the same outlook on the US situation, and I'm delighted that some of your great LOLs on the subject are making the Front Page. Congrats and thank you! I have had little luck in getting people to wake up and see what is actually happening here. Santayana said, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." I can tell that you, like me, are a student of history. If only more were the same. The sad addendum to Santayana's quote is that when the majority don't remember, those who do are condemned to repeat it and, insult added to injury, suffer knowing exactly what's to come. I've put up memes like this that have been pretty much ignored: http://cheezburger.com/8992762624. I'm delighted that yours draw attention. Please don't stop making them.
