I am a person who loves animals, and has taken it upon myself to care for a number of abandoned cats, all now spayed and neutered. I write poems and songs. Here is one of my short poems.
An end to endless constant roam,
A stray cat, at last, has found a home.
A gentle hand to stroke its fur
Was answered by a thankful purr.
A warm lap, a bit of sup,
Then a nap cheered her up.
And when she saw that she could stay
And didn't have to go away,
Believe me when I say it's true,
