Ohai, my sweet friend!! The move was pretty rough (example: someone made off with two antique crocks valued at anywhere from $75 to 300) and the worst part is that even though I left behind 3/4the of my stuff I can only have about HALF of the things I moved so the other half has to go back to the apartment :( And It's got to be done before this weekend because I am having a professional estate sale!!! Right now, I am exhausted down to my bones. Yup, I applied for rental assistance and am the waiting list. Here in Eau Claire the wait is 4 years. (Yikes!) The place I'm in allows 2 cats and my sweet boy Kirby went over the bridge last month due to stomache cancer bringing my cat count to three. PLEASE don't tell anyone about Kirby because I just can't deal with the condolences right now. I talked to the management about making an exception to this two cat rule and he asked the owner and got it approved. But I can't tell the other tenants about my special deal. The city owned complexes owned by the county here only allow ONE pet. Period. I saw a WHOLE bunch of apartments that would take 2 cats and they were REAL dumps!!! This place is huge and very well maintained and in SUCH a great neighborhood that my car insurance went down ;) It's just been a tough time for me all around but should settle down after next weekend.
The new surgery is incredibly effective! But also very new...not many docs know how to do it, and it takes a special table and equipment that costs a lot, I guess! But it will be more widely used quickly. It has so many advantages. Tell anybody you know who might need a hip replacement! BTW, yesterday (1 month after surgery) I spent most of the day digging in the garden...after taking a 1-1/2 mile walk!
