Several frens have asked about my sweet little old lady so will just C&P: "We took Shasta for her first walkies this morning and she had no problem with the harness at all which is amazing as she has never had more than a collar on her. Bryan worked his way up the back steps and she checked out each one thoroughly. When she got to the top of the stairs and saw Lil Hussy, she scooted back into the shop. Bryan walked her because with my feet I can't get down the stairs fast enough to keep up with her A little more each day but now that we are likely to move, think we will just keep daily walk routines and not let her loose at all. Do not want to lose her!" We re hoping to get a counter offer we like for the house we want to buy tomorrow and then if we accept it wil lbe fairly quick to closing I imagine. But we then have to sell this house and won't move until we do. It's summer so the chance are better than during our gloomy winters what with all the flowers blooming and vegies in the garden. It will have to be people who really love a big yard and like to garden. Condo lovers need not apply :) They are still so playful at 9 months and especially when there is more than one. Glad got to play with them. A Wonderful Wednesday to u.

Oh, you did lose ur Dad at a young age and I know that must have been hard and u understand totally what the gkids are going through. Shasta is doing great. We did not have time today to work with Shasta and Lil Hussy with all the running around errands for elders and ourselves (our fridge was empty :) and gathering documents and emailing scanned copies to a lender we are working with in Bend to buy a house there. We feel son and gkids really need us down there and it is time for a change for us. But we hope to start the introduction process tomorrow and take Shasta out on a harness to get used to our yard before we let her come and go as she pleases from the workshop kitty door. It would be heartbreaking to lose her at this point because she got scared and ran off. Only when we feel totally comfortable with her being outside and she and Lil Hussy tolerate each other will we let her go out by herself. WHat u and the family been up to?

Yes, he was. Folds are usually bred with British Shorthairs (like Happy Cat) in order to keep the breed true to type and to prevent deformities. That's partly why Folds generally have good personalities and are very social. They're not easily annoyed, as you can see. Did you ever got to stuffonmycat.com?

Glad to know you haven't had major trouble with storms. We need rain here, so yesterday's steady drizzle was welcome. Boss boy of the colony isn't bothered bv a drizzle. He just sits in foliage near the front porch and sleeps until he sees someone at the door with a can! More rain expected today, but if it's like yesterday's that would be ideal. After Hurricane Lee and Hurricane Sandy, we get a little nervous when we get pounding downpours and rain. Have a nice Friday, Jadzia.

heh heh! I just had a Murphy day myself - it doesn't have to be a Monday for us to want to just stay put for a while! I'm glad the dog noises didn't scare Ted, but it's funny that he ran to check. Hope the storms have been steering clear of your neighborhood.

Thank you for your prayers and caring thoughts. They are much appreciated. Would be hard to handle this without the support of so many kinds people. We went home for a couple of days to take care of stuff for our two elders and came back down yesterday, Will not be on next couple of days likely as the Service and Celebration of Life are tomorrow and a lot to do today.

By all means, try this at home. Use duct tape if you like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtDoRmFBoPc

He'd stand still and then stumble around, then stand still again as if he was thinking "WHAT DID I JUST DO?" and then go back to stumbling again. It's different with drunk squirrels. They try to just keep on climbing as usual, even though they make wrong moves, can't go straight and occasionally fall.

Most of the time, animals do have much more sense in that respect, but every now and then I'll see a drunk groundhog! They eat fermented fruit, and some rodents have been known to get drunk from eating fermented pumpkins! But if something just doesn't smell right to them, they'll spurn it. I have stopped buying certain brands of frozen food because my cats won't eat bits of it. Here's Jupiter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLpDBj--as0

The fact that the bear sniffed everything and left without eating anything tells me I shouldn't eat there. Animals have some sense about food additives. The cat colony never ate any dry food containing artificial coloring. BTW, bears are very good at opening all kinds of doors; the kind with handles are easier for them than doorknobs, which is how they can easily inspect vehicles for possible food looting! Have a nice night and as good a Monday as possible. : 7 )

You know I did! It's crazy how many hiding places there are in Pennsylvania. One guy went on the lam and spent over a week in five different places without having to stay outside and without having people make arrangements for him. I don't eat at Subway, and the bear doesn't like their stuff, either. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBiboVzi2VI
