Thank you so much. This has been a rough day. Last December he had a stent put in which saved him from a massive heart attack (his right coronary artery was 98% blocked). Since January he'd been going to cardiac rehab and only had two more sessions after today. He did the rehab class and was going back to the car when he said his chest started feeling funny. He went back up to rehab and he went straight to the ER from there. They are still trying to determine if he had a heart attack. The first blood test for cardiac enzymes came back negative but it was done very soon after the epsode happened so that if it was an attack the damged tissue had no chance to produce the enzymes, so they've been redoing the blood tests this evening to see if anything changes. So far I haven't heard anything. His cardiologist sees him in the morning and will decide what to do from there. Please pass the word to others here to remember Jim. Every bit helps. Will keep everyone posted. Thanks so much. Barb

HE'S OUT and OKAY! I just heard from the big guy himself! He's talking and actually making sense, LOL. Say's they didn't have to put in as much bone graft as they'd thought. The surgeon said he was very happy. He doesn't know how many screws got put in yet but from the X-rays it was (and I quote), "a LOT." Says to tell you all that the prayers n' good thoughts worked and thanks SO much. He'll be in touch himself of course when he gets out.
