Oh good, hopefully this one will respond in a more timely manner. Toronto would be fun and I know your son would love for you both to come. Well I wouldn't want to live in one for more than two weeks either. Sure easier to clean than a big house though. LOL
I wish you could too :) But I know you take care of some outdoor kittehs which is so wonderful. Eeryone does their paet in different ways to help our companion animals. You and hubs pkanning any vacations this summer? I know he would hae to get started early to get all the necessary approvals/ We have one trip lined up to meet with some of his high school friends at a lake in CA for a campin reunion. We'll take the travel trailer and it shuld be fun.
Thanks for the funny Valentine's Day Card! Yeah, little guy might haz an embarrass :) Thats the way I am with Spanish - 3 years in HS - still recognize a lot of words and it is a language I would love to relearn as it really was not difficult. We volunteered at a no kill cat rescue shelter 4 days las tweek and a ton of family stuff this weekend. We will make that our regular volunteer gig but only on Mon and Thus. They never have enough volunteers so would be easy to send 4 or 5 ays there every week :)
I am sure it is parent driven at first but glad to hear the kids enjoy it after awhile. Once you can get a young one hooked, they start to enjoy the learning process. Did you study languages at some point? Aside from Japanese and English do you know any other languages? I think it is so cool to be fluent in more than one language. Geman was my first language but gradually lost it as I grew older and came to the US. It would not be hard to pick up again but I really don't have a reason to.
I think It is a difficult language to learn, more so the written with all our words that sound the same but are spelled differently and have different meanings. But then Japanese would be very difficult for me to learn. I admir you for being able to do that I am sure their parents initiated it but so wonderful that the kids love it too. Is it like an hour at a time?
Oh I love your theory of weather relativity LOL Well at least you can get some ingredients if you want to make something special. Thanks on the pc, t was taken this summer at one of our camping trips, I updae my ic every year, when I don;t have my team logo up :) DO ou currently have any English students?
Ah, so one could wind up with a quirky name depending on who is picking it :) I ws going to ask about food marts. I imaine you don't always eat Middle Eastern food. Are there stores near by where you can find more internatonal ingredients?
Good grief, you son is in for some very cold weather when I looked at the Toronto forecast and snow. Some of our northeastern states are getting hit hard. Glad you liked Clarinet - kitteh is very intent on playing that music. I bet you all have a great time when you "hash" together :) Does everyone have heir own hash name? Our northeastern states are in the middle of a huge snow stor
I hope hubs is doing better now and can get off those crutches soon. From what I read, they do sound like fun but I would have to do it a much slower pace LOL Although I am pretty clutzy sometimes and could like trip over a rock even going at a snail's pace. When your son is home, does he do that.
It is all relative :) I looked up the temp in Doha and it is a balmy 70 but if one is used to much higher temps I an see where that would seem cool. Same thing with people that live in HI. Visited friends there one time in Feb and they were all wearing sweaters and light jackets in the evening and I was in a tank top. I had never ever heard of Hashing! What an interesting sporting event social thing, whatever :)I love the part about the lady in the red dress that became an annual event. How many are in his club? How did he bruise his leg - must have been bad if he is on crutches. Have a putter day at hoe today until tonight when we have a party to go to at 6.
