That's great and how fun for him to be able to make the place his very own. IKEA will be an excellent place for him to find good furniture and at the right size for an apartment. Hopefully they deliver. Too bad on the pets but living in the city like that I think ou are right that he will be able to adopt a city kitty. Is he going to use public transportation or plan to get a car there?

Thanks again for your bdy LOL! Glad to see you and son got to Toronto safe and have wifi access. Sounds like apartment hunting went really well LOL on him being a basement cat. I hope it is furnished, or do you have to buy a bunch of stuff? Did he bring all his clothes and personal stuff with him or had it stored in Toronto? Have a safe trip back when you leave.

Oh dear, did the permit come or do you have to head to Toronto without hubs? So good when one has friends who can take care of our animal companions. How long do you plan to be in Toronto?

Naw, lol speak not anything better or worse of what we all have, what matters is that we are all friends, when stoopy auto-correct or lol-speak sounds, er a bit bad, we all understand that s--t happens! If I don't check auto-correct,.... Aaaaa I wonder what it sounded like!! :) pc

I'm really bad at auto-lol-spek. ( or good)? Best subjects in school were art and writing, I actually can write human. However, have used the language of lol speak unknowingly for most of my life! Now it's hard to write correctly since I've been a burger member! About a year 1/2 ago, I told someone here, I signed a check with my user name. ( not really, but I had to pause a second!) :D Pc

You go on holiday! Lock up the "kids" in the house , pile up the food, BIG bowls of water, you n I both need to calm ourselves. An hab funz, dem cat kids will ackshully be ok. (I'm talking to you and myself at the same time) so, go! I am planning a couple trips, believe me, I'll prolly have 30 gallons of water, a whole 30 lb bag of fud, opened,on it's side, bowls full, and prolly have the local firemen come everyday to check for smoke. I hab 3 indoor kittehs. Shud be 'nuff, fur 5days? Get a trustworthy person to feed the outdoor cats! And Go!

"Holiday Kitteh" it's too true. I always freak out leaving too long, pile the food dishes sky high, bowls and bowls of water, even if someone I trust is kitteh -sittin. There's been accidents, mostly my fault. Left a window, cats are too handy and smart. Max has taught several young'uns how to open doors and etc! (Max is my girl cat,14, too smart) :) Pc

Hope you are actually on the way now. That would be irritating to 1) have to have an exit permit to even leave the country and 2) they can't get them to you on time :( I do agree on Maddy that inthis case you have to trust the vet. The main thing is Maddy is well loved. Do you have a friend to take care of your kittehs while you are gone cuz I know you also feed some outside cats.

Did your son enjoy the visit to Japan? Given the time difference you are likely on that plane to Toronto already. For him to live while going to school there? Safe travels both ways. Do let me know when you hear how Maddy is doing.

ED your convo with Ani and so happy to hear about Maddy! I really hope his new Mom keeps in touch with you on his progress and post any pics she sends you. And I totally get the collar to keep him from hurting himself at first. That fur babeh had no chance until CC steered him to you. I tip my beret to you fren. Hope you are enjoying your delayed visit to Japan. We're off Wed am for 2 weeks with family and friends in CA for several events. But that's the last long trip this year. Catch up with you when I get back. Hugz

Are you going to be able to visit him? You are wonderful, too. Very few people would have done what you did for him. He's going to be healthy & happy because of you.

So you found him a home. How sad/happy for you. You were so good to get all that surgery & care for him. I'm glad you were able to video him.

Bless you for taking care of little blind Maddy and so very, very glad to hear that the woman still wants him. How much longer on the eyedrops? It's like fostering unweaned kittehs - they nee to eat every cuple of hour no matter what your schedule is :) I don;t like closed-in spaces myself, especally elevators. But if you look at as a little house on wheels, it's quite comfy. I had to think a minute and remember "caravan" is English for RV :) A lot depends on the size you get. We have one that is almost 20 feet long which is a really nice size to ot feel really crunched up. We use it mostly int he summer anyway so we are outside as much as possible to BBQ, eat, sit around the campfire. Sorry for late reply once agani, we were out of town for a couple of days,
