Nice work again. Got em. You might have guessed I aint no christian. All that stuff he is alleged to have said like luv ur enemies, give all your stuff away to the poor, turn the other cheek, render unto Caesar what is Caesar... seems idiotic to me and is never practiced by any christian I know. I think he said that stuff just to get in the good books with the hated Roman invaders at the time. And his fellow Jews never saw him as their Messiah. Luv yur enemies? LOL. They wanted a warrior to free them from the Roman tyranny, not some wuss...
We had some very nice days--even got hot and humid. Today, however, a cold front is moving in and there is rain. We have freeze warnings for tonight and tomorrow night, but it's all typical spring for us. I'm glad you had lots of riding time. Thank you very much for the links to the new quotes. As usual they are superb; I like the one about being brave from a distance the best. I'm very anxious to see the surprise--love surprises! Enjoy the rest of Tuesday, my friend. Hugs, Brenda
Hi Dawn, everything is well on this end and hope all is well on yours also. I haven't been on here much in the past couple weeks cause Spring has finally sprung! I have been spending a lot of time digging in the dirt and I love it..Do you plant a garden? Moar huggs and lubbs, Millie
Hi there!! I'm a rather sporadic visitor here of late, but I get here when I can, and hopefully I'll be back to the lol-ing soon. I was unemployed for a bit, and now have a new job that starts Monday. But it's nice to have a new cheezpeep, and I look forward to seeing more of you!
The more exposure of Native culture and history, the better! I'm glad you had a pretty day but am sorry your bike wasn't ready. Thank goodness the good weather is holding so you can ride tomorrow. My riding will be in the car taking my husband to the hospital for his hernia surgery. I am grateful that there won't be rain. We seem to have rain two or three days a week now. Today was lovely though, and tomorrow is supposed to be also. Spring is my favorite season even though I have allergies. Enjoy your ride! Hugs, Brenda
That's cool that you have an opportunity to showcase some of your wonderful quotes! The weather guy was wrong. We had much more sun than clouds, and I was delighted. I hope you did too and that tomorrow will be a great day for motorcycle ridin'! Hugs, Brenda
I love your good morning LOL! It's very hard to select only three favorites from your quotes, but of course mine are from Chief Joseph: Earth mother of all people, if white man wants to live in peace with the Indian, and all made by same Great Spirit The rat fink forecasters have changed our forecast. Now we are supposed to have another day of clouds with sun tomorrow. If they say that again tonight, I may get myself to the TV station and pop the weatherman with the messiest pie I can find. Then I can sit in jail and rest for a while. LOL Have a good one! Hugs, Brenda
Oh, I can swim, so all is well :-) We had clouds all day, but it didn't rain anymore, thank goodness. We are hoping for sun tomorrow too. May both of us have lovely weather and a good Wednesday, my friend.
Ohai. I EDd your message. Looks like you've got what we've got here in West Tn. Cool and rainy is not my idea of a nice Spring day! The flowers are blooming, but I can't sit outside and enjoy them. I hope it gets better soon for both of us. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
No I don't; not sure if anyone here does. Hey, glad to hear Collard is doing much better :) Sounds like your weather is getting pretty nice - perfect for riding and hope you are getting out Had some friends from here visit for a couple of days and we took them to the High Desert Museum where they have a really extensive and interesting exhibit on the Plateau Indians which range from Eastern WA down through Eastern Oregon, with the Columbia River and its tributaries being of great importance to their livelihood and culture. I became very familiar with the WA coast tribes but I do not know much about the Native Americans in Oregon, except that three tribes that make up the Warm Springs confedertion, so was very informative. They had a book in the Museum in the gift store about Oregon's first people that should give me a lot more info.
