I've been watching more of the marvelous videos in the playlist you sent and greatly enjoying them--such great artwork and pictures to go with the compelling music! Thanks again. I've bookmarked them because I will be going back to them. I hope you are having a great holiday weekend, Dawn. Hugs, Brenda
Sorry about the cypress tree. Late Autumn is the best time to move a seedling. Did you get a cypress knee? This picture shows some good ones. http://cheezburger.com/6575432960 I took it at the park last summer. 2katmom sent me a camera she wasn't using anymore. I really have enjoyed it. I'm not very good, but I try. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
Well, good riddance, Monday! I do hope I will have things more together tomorrow. I called people by the wrong names all day. Even as the wrong names were coming out of my mouth, I knew I was wrong but couldn't stop in time. I made other mistakes too. Goodness knows I make plenty all the time, but this was much worse than usual. Have a great night!
I would say I can't believe I wrote Patty instead of Dawn, but after the day I've had, I believe any crazy thing I did. I woke up at 2 and couldn't go back to sleep, so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I made one mistake after another all day long, and I hope the Moanday curse has finally ended. I sincerely apologize, and I truly do know you name. I have been thinking a lot of Patty and what's she's going through. I don't know if that had anything to do with my error or not. At least I correctly said how much I love the videos and thank you for them. I hope you've had a good Moanday (I know good and Moanday together form an oxymoron ), Dawn. Blushing, Brenda (AKA Dimwit some days)
U just a trabelling gal. Oh yes, if you can, WA is very beautiful in many ways. Comie in on the northern part of the state east to west, hit Seattle, the Puget Sound, then take the 101 loop around the Olympic Peninsula to the ocean, hit AStoria, over to Portland and go back East along the Colubia. There, got your trp all planned. Hugz
Oh, I wish I had known you were visiting. We could have gotten together for lunch and some sightseeing. The seeds you got are from the American yellow lotus. The Chickasaws ground the seeds (yanquapin) to make flour. I've never eaten any bread made from them, but others have and say it has a nutty flavor. Good luck with your little cypress. Remember they like water. Did you see the pictures I have of the lake? I have a site with some I took last year. This is my email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. If you're back down this way, email me, and we can get together. I'd love to meet you. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
Many thanks for the sweet message, lilapache! The same is very true of you. I've missed the great quotes but have figured that you have been enjoying the summer outside as much as possible. It's always good to have a message from you. Hugs, Brenda
