Harley can you please tell molly to quit hogging the scratching post? she doesn't have claws so I bought the scratching post for dusty and moll is just laying on top of it. she loves that thing. she lays on top of it and rubs her paws on it, rubs her face on it, rubs her whole body on it. meow meow meow! "mine mine mine! *evil laugh* ok, cool it molly. you have to share, especially since it was bought for your brubber. the round one in the turbochaser toy is both of yours but this one I bought specifically for dusty and I don't get to see him use it because molly thinks it's a bed on an angle. you know though if I try and get a picture of her, she'll run off. i'll try to at some point, i'm too tired right now to move.zzzzzzzzzzzzz huh oh uh? where am I ? oh yeah uh sorry, must have dozed off. anyway, i'll get a picture of her laying on the scratching post. dusty is jumping up and down and says hihihihihi MAUY! (he's a little hyper today, did somebody give him some sugar??) molly is waving to Harley from the scratching post and says hi Harley! and I miss you!

are mauy and dusty playing some sort of weird tag or hide and go seeks? because dusty keeps running from behind one piece of furniture to another but he'll stop and pause for a minute behind each piece of furniture and crouch down. every once in a while he'll jump up and run across the top of the couch really quick like he's on some secret mission and has to hurry before he's seen by the enemy! lol he's really looking like he's having fun although molly looks like she's getting annoyed because she's on the couch. maybe his secret mission is to spy on her? with boys you just never know

I am SO happy for you!! I know how good it feels to become more active AND lose weight because of it!! GREAT for Scott too to lose so much after quitting smoking!! I always worried that quitting would make me gain weight but NOPE! Just maintain some activity and don't use the refrigerator as a psychiatrist if at all possible! Congratz to you both!! I hope this is a WAY healthier year for the littleAPC fambly!! :D

By the time I went to my 10 year reunion, a hundred years ago, all my classmates had become yuppified. They had big bowl of both red and black caviar and of course I had to try some, shiver, choke!

Well, hopefully the billing lady will get things straightened out! They also managed to fax a form requesting an after operation report to my nephew, without out my consent! Which basically is against the law! Thank CC it went to my nephew and not some stranger.

Couldn't help seein' how much fun you're having wif da medical folks! My eye doctor shares offices with 2 other doctors. We've paid the co pay for MY doctor's fee for both surgeries. But for some reason, I got notices from my insurance that both OTHER doctors were charging for the surgery too. I mean really, how many doctors can have their fingers in your eye at one time!!!!! then I got a bill for BOTH surgeries from one of the doctors who wasn't there! No wonder our health care is so expensive!

yeah, that sounds like dusty, he's been around that scratching pad in the turbochaser since the day he adopted me and he didn't "realize" it was there until about 6 weeks ago. so he knew it was there because he played with that toy all the time, he just didn't want to make a big deal about it. molly and Harley are sooo sweet together. I can just see magic fluffing up her blankie and dusting out her boxes. did she ask to borrow a can of air freshener too? lol she may need to borrow a thumb with that one though. I put nip on the scratching '"post". it's more of a ramp than a post really. it's a cardboard thingy at an angle, like a ramp. anyway, it's got nip on it and dusty started eating the nip off of it and I told him no silly, you're supposed to scratch it, not eat the nip, so I did my best to rub the nip into the post some. he still kept eating it. I figured fine, eventually he'll finish eating what's on top and most of it went into the post. wait..hmmm. I wonder if it fell through because it has a toy underneath on one side. *runs to go check* .......yup, the box underneath where the dangling toy is was full of nip lol so I dumped that on the carpet for them to roll in. might as well make use of it! so after molly gets home, and after molly cries because she's no longer with Harley, guess what she'll be doing. dusty will eat the nip first and then he'll rattle off to me really quick all the fun stuff he did this weekend and then he'll rattle it all off again(you know how nip makes them forget..lol) he's so cyoot. ok, molly is trying to sharpen her face, she keeps rubbing it against the scratching post.

you deserve some wine after all that! I bought them a couple new scratching posts this morning before they left. I know I said "them" even though molly is declawed, but molly "uses" the scratching posts more than dusty does. she scratches at it with her "claws" for a while(everything I tell you she did this morning, she spent a total of 10 minutes doing). then she laid down on the scratching pad and rubbed her face and on it and then started to roll around on it so that it looked like she was scratching the top half of her body. I don't know if she was feeling very itchy and that was a good scratch or what but she was enjoying herself. then she went back to scratching her claws. then she went over to the other scratching post which is at an angle(the first one is flat on the ground which is how she was able to roll around on it). dusty stood right next to her and watched her scratch on it so it looked like she was showing him how to do it. I hope he paid close attention because he needs to use both of those. he has used the flat oneseveral times but nowhere near as long as molly does. I saw him sniffing the other one a couple times and he noticed there is a toy inside but I didn't see him playing with it. I told him I got it just for him. he ran off after I said that. I guess embarrassed him.

sure they can. I've got a LONG to-do list. grocery shopping, buying new scratching posts for dusty, going to Target, etc etc etc etc, spending too much money. etc etc etc actually a coworker told me a bunch of shirts she got at Target were $6 and $9 so i'm going to go shopping for those. I told her though we're going to have to call each other to make sure we're not wearing the same sure on the same day!
