Still need to learn how to message on tumblr. I also made a deviantart page. Just in case you come back and see this I got my latest comic on Equestria Daily through deviantart! It's the first thing I've submitted to them and it's very exciting. Here's the link if you want to check it out: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/02/comic-mystery-solved-many-faces-of.html

Sounds good. I made a tumblr not too long ago so I'll look into the site probably this week-end.

That seems about right. At least it gets people more involved with the post instead of just viewing what's new on the site then leaving. Think I'm ganna call it a night. It was nice talking to you again. Hopefully I'll see you around the site from time to time.

Ok that's what I figured. Yea I was reading some of the comments earlier and see what you mean. Also the meme is parked on the first page so this probably won't end until it's pushed back to page 3 or 4.

The comments on your recent post or this conversation? Not sure what you mean by these comments. But wow over 290 now.

No I gotcha. Best to avoid anything like that, even if your spacing yourself from MLB. I do like that the mod screens content so no weird bs can spread around on the site.

That's a really good point. Always best to avoid the dark corners of the fandom, or any fandom for that matter.

Yea really, it's good that you linked the source though. At least the same person who originally posted that picture didn't say that they were making the mane 6 humans so they could go to earth and visit the littlest petshop because Hasbro is trying to get the MLB fan base to spread into that show. Now that would be trolling. But that depends if the picture is legit or just a trolling attempt in general.

I definitely agree with that. Sometimes it's good to take a step back from the online community and ask yourself why you started watching the show in the first place, even if the online community is how learned about the show. It seems sometimes an individual's "fanbase mentality" can separate itself from the "I enjoy the show" mentality. For example, people would care a lot less about the whole Twilicorn thing if nobody talked about it and everyone just found out through the episode that it was part of a plot.

Yea that's true. I wish I knew about this site early 2012, or about MLP for that matter. That seems to be when MLB was the most active with the most diversity. I made this account like 3 years ago back when cheezburger was all about failblog and graphjam, but then I forgot about the site for a while. It's funny, I still have graphs I made from almost 3 years ago on this account. Anyway I'm glad the older content stays up on MLB. Sometimes it 's nice to root through it and have a few laughs.

If you go to page 2 on MLB and replace it with 800, you'll be toward the beginning of last year and see that content used to have a collectively higher level of quality, or at least I feel it did looking through some of the older memes. I guess we'll see what season 4 brings out in people. Actually, right below your post on the homepage is another MLP movie suggesting meme. A full movie would make for an interesting time on this site. There would be a lot of potential for memes so that I think would be a lot of fun.

And also, as a note. The gak memes where only funny at first if the person looking at them watched the season premier on livestream and understood the joke.

That's right, I forgot about those re-post themed ones that spanned several weeks. I found out about this site half way through the street names contest so I missed most of that process. I thought the street name one was ok until it passed 4 re-posts, then it started to get monotonous. Similarly during the season the gak memes where kind of funny at first. I think both of these subjects come down is it can be funny, but it can also be beaten to death rather quickly, figuratively .

Yea, that's what I mean. Content with no specific episode influence. And I was just curious. I like the diversity of off season content but it's also fun when people base content off of a new episode. It gives the whole week following the episode a common theme and it's always fun to see what people come up with.

I can relate to that. I stopped making 2 comics a week not too long ago for similar reasons. One day I realized I was about to make and post a filler strip that I didn't care about with an idea I wasn't satisfied with because I felt it was expected of me. I realized there's no point in making content just for the sake of it, so I understand where your coming from. It's still nice to have your presence on the site even if you don't make content. As a random question do you like off season content more or during season content?

That sounds good. Maybe stop in every once in a while just to see what's new. The hour after the season finale will be interesting. It will be all be "still trust the writers?" vs. "I told you to trust the writers!"
