I work at an animal shelter and am a huge proponent of Spaying and Neutering. Too many animals have to die simply because there are not enough responsible homes. As much as you want that cute animal, please do not take on any more than you have resources to properly care for over the course of its life. No one is going to want to take over the care of your older pet once it needs more frequent medical care to keep it healthy.
