Jerry actually had a pretty good day today. So we're back to going moment to moment. We will probably still take him to the vet on Tuesday at least for their evaluation, but I'm hopeful (call me crazy). Thanks for your kind and supportive words - they mean so much!

Your reaction to the films was what I've heard from many - which is why I'm avoiding seeing it until in a stronger state of mind - although I have heard from so many who incredibly good it is.

I haven't yet seen it but have heard much about it. I worry it will hit too close to home and I try to hold off on films that do that. It's easier with books because I can always put them down and look at them another time when I feel stronger. Have you seen the film? What are your thoughts? As far as posting my crochet and jewelry stuff, my daughter is working with me on getting a website set up (she's doing the photos, etc.), so I will keep you posted. Have a lovely day, m'dear!

Sounds like we have much in common. I loved Ray Bradbury Theatre and also loved Burgess and Heinlein. As for crochet (I do not knit), I do a lot of agfhans and pillows and baby clothes, but try not to use patterns and just kind of make them up as I go along. Scary but fun :)

I am a die-hard FIREFLY fan and a major fan of anything Whedon! I love sci-fi and always have. Read my first sci-fi/fantasy (Ray Bradbury, followed by Jules Verne, etc.) when I was 11 years old and I'm a 61 year old gramma :). Nice to meetcha!
