I am lucky to have a job because I get to sit in air-conditioning all day long. I live just north of the state of Washington and our weather is supposed to be around 74 degrees with not much humidity - but we are having a heatwave and it's up to the low 90s right now. ughhhh - I wear glasses and I have sweating because my glasses slide down my nose and sometimes they've fallen off. ___ We have an avenue that runs beside the border between Canada and USA for miles and miles through farm land. On our side the fields are mostly blueberries or corn. I'm not sure what the American farmers are growing. Sometimes on a weekend my husband and I travel along there and see farmers on both sides out working. I often wonder if they ever talk across the border with each other.
Oh cool! Hope you had a nice time over there! Nope, didn't go on vacation. Weather has been so nice over here, and I don't work that much right now, so I didn't really need a vacation. Doing just fine as it is :-D
did i tell you my new babies are both tabbies?? one is a white / brown ( my avatar aifinkso) an the other is a brown/black boy. They like to wrestle an sometimes nap together tho not so much this summer (maybe due to the heat ). Other than that life is pretty hum-drum. Thankfully the union at my company ended thier strike after 50 days -- i'm on the management side so i was covering the phones for that time. I was soooo glad not to do that anymore. Hoping you are well. **Hugs**
Ohai . FORM LETTER FOLLOWS: For five-plus years I have not added friends and I know I will regret changing course for all the reasons I've given in the past, but here goes: welcome. Of the 160 pending requests I had as of 24 July, I'm going to add a few. People who are still around (or are sentimental old-time favorites), who I like, or at least don't irritate me *too* much. ;-) PLEASE do not inundate me with messages or I will start ignoring all but my original friends. (I don't know how to type, which makes it worse.) There aren't enough hours in the day and by now I think I owe time.
