I hope so! She is still hiding in the sofa. We put food, water and a litter box in the living room for her, but she doesn't seem to be using them. I hope she starts to come around soon, perhaps when she starts to get hungry. We can reach her to pet her, but she won't come out. I know it takes a little while for new animals to adjust, but I guess I'm anxious for it to happen. TTYL! ~ Gary
What a GENIUS idea!! I will pave the driveway with it so's I can has a nosh when I'm out shubbelin' snow!! Ahhh...too bad Wally...we have a few recipes now lost to the ages as well with the passing of my Momma in 2008. I have them written down but I can't get into her head anymore to see what secret ingredients she added but didn't write down. ;)
I believe a purrson of your strength and fortitude should be quite capable of lobbing a slice of Amalgamation Cake to me. I shall be out on the back lawn...waitin'...wif a baseball mitt awn cuz datz kinda like a plate. ;)
See that's how it started, I figured I just needed new glasses. Then there was this strange cloudy spot in my left eye, which grew and grew. That's when I went and found out it was cataracts. Now my right eye has taken this as permission to grow cataracts of it's own. The left one gets done on the 30th if all goes well. I can't decide if I even want to bother with decorating this year because everything is so dim and blurry.........Have a wonderful Holiday! Love san smooches from psom and the girls!
One of the most heartwarming things that came out of losing Pollyme was learning how well you'n'NC knew her and her situation and enriched her life in wonderful ways. It must have been so hard for her to trust anyone but she DID trust the two of you and maybe others I don't know about. I just think you and Carol are beautiful souls to care so deeply for your friends with a "door's always open" pawlicy and a heart that shatters like glass when one you've loved so dearly is gone. Yes...time. Always time, but it does work. In the meantime we keep busy by pouring ourselves into our pets and families and taking some love in return. ;) Oh dear...winter...it is still autumn, technically, but we have had some unseasonable cold. -22C, ice rain, snow, and of course slush as we are right now sitting at 2 degrees ABOVE 0!!! The snow has almost melted and it's kinda balmy out there. ;) So much nicer for the homeless. Love ya right back woman!!!
